MAX_PATH in WinRT

I know that access to the file system in WinRT is different (read: isolated), but I'm curious if we still need to worry about MAX_PATH or avoid this restriction?

No, the MAX_PATH restrictions have not been lifted - if you pass a path longer than MAX_PATH to the Windows API that accepts the path, it is still possible that it will not work. But MAX_PATH will be much less likely to matter, since Windows APIs usually work with strings, not character buffers.

In addition, since metro-style applications are typically limited in the directories they refer to, deeper paths are less likely to occur.
