Hi, I am trying to create a table cell using a div tag and doing so. I get this extra interval after my img tag inside the cell.

<div display:tabel-cell>
<a><img/></a>
I cannot figure out how to get rid of this extra interval.
I tried mapping: inline for a tag a and img. but not luck.
If someone can help me get rid of this interval, I would love to appreciate it.
An example is right before shading there 2-3 pixels of white space inside this table cell
