Is it possible to update Visual Studio from SVN when opening the solution?

I am using Visual Studio 2010 with VisualSVN and TortoiseSVN, and I would like to need to update the original control when I open the solution, as SourceSafe did. Is it possible?

I think this upgrade option is not a SourceSafe function, but rather Get everthing when you open a project or solution option found in the Visual Studio version control options panel.

I don’t think you have a way to automatically request you, but have you tried the AnkhSVN Subversion plugin for Visual Studio? This allows you to easily update solutions, add, etc.
