Is there an image annotation app for django?

Question

I was looking for a Django application that allowed me to select parts of images and “annotate” them with tags or text.

I assume that in one approach you can use plugins like jquery-image-annotate and integrate it with my django application (preferably by the administrator) - but I was wondering if there is already something that does this. Thank you
