The history of dead ends in Oracle?

Is there an oracle in the story of dead ends?

eg. Can I find out which sqls were executed when a deadlock was detected, and was the exception ORA-00060 (deadlock detected while waiting for a resource) thrown?

Thanks in advance.

There is no history built into the database, however, when a dead end occurs, several things happen. First, it logs in alert.log. Secondly, a trace file is written. So there’s some kind of story recorded.

The trace file will contain many useful bits of information, such as: - a dead end graph - SQL that encountered a dead end - other dead end statements
