How to open interface designer in Xcode 4?

I am following the tutorial on creating an application for the iPhone.

But I'm stuck on the step where it says clicks on a specific .xib file. I think to open the builder interface. Can anyone advise me where to do this?

Another question is that I noticed that the apple will add my project codes to the git repository. I think this is good, but how to use git related commands in xcode?

If the .xib file is in your project, you can find it in the project explorer (press CMD-1 to open the project explorer if it is not already open); (sample image)
