The Return @Async method leads to Spring MVC and returns it to the Ajax client - continued

This is a continuation of this question:

Returns the @Async method leads to Spring MVC and returns it to the Ajax client

I have a task @Asyncthat calculates something and returns it to the Future, when the calculation occurs on demand and can take up to 15 minutes. I don’t want to create a new Ajax request every few seconds to check if the calculation is being done, and I don’t want my connection to open for 15 minutes until the result is calculated.

What could be the best solution for Spring MVC in such cases?
