Connecting rails to an Amazon RDS server. Works in the console, but now the page does not load

I am trying to use the RDS database with my rail application, because in the end I want to put it on the hero. (The database is about 10 GB). I'm having trouble connecting, but it seems to be working. If I log into the console, I can start sphinx searches and all I need, but when I start the server, it seems to freeze or something like that. If I click "About your application environment", nothing will happen. I do not receive any messages in the console or anything else. If I try to go to another page, it will just load the page, but it won’t go anywhere.

This is what my database.yml looks like.
