Close the colorbox popup when clicked anywhere outside the popup

We have a colorbox modal popup that we don’t want to close unless the user clicks the “X” button in the upper right corner of the popup. It currently closes if you click anywhere outside the popup area.

Colorbox has options for changing this functionality. Just add this to your colorbox instance:

$("#selector").colorbox({
    //your other colorbox options
    //...
    escKey: false,
    overlayClose: false
});
