401 Unauthorized error using NetBeans + Git in BitBucket

I have a local git repository. I recently added a remote repository from bitbucket and without any problems clicked on my branch: git push bitbucket (since I configured the username and password in https url). But when I try to click using NetBeans, I always get 401 Unauthorized when I select from the configured list of remote repositories and when I try to manually enter the remote repo data. I have the latest version of NetBeans and git plugins.

Thanks for any help in advance.

This is a bug in NetBeans. The seams are fixed in NetBeans 7.2 and look even better in NetBeans 7.3, so maybe you can try updating. I find it stable and reliable.

Please note that you can install more than one version of NetBeans only if you need to switch, and since you use git and click, you should not be afraid to lose data.

Are you using the correct version of Git as indicated in this thread ?

I had the same problem. What version of git are you using? (git version will tell you.)

1.6.6 Git "" HTTP.
Bitbucket "" HTTP, Git.
