How stable is Roslyn CTP as a replacement for dummy console applications?

I often find myself making a dummy console application to test something simple. (For example, like DateTime.Parse as a string in the format YYYY-MM-DD-HH-MM-SS?)

I know that Roslyn has an interactive C # window that allows you to run such simple tests in an IDE with an open solution. This is the only feature that I really wish for.

But how stable is the Roslyn CTP? Is this going to ruin my IDE? Notice me when I don't use it? Is it used only for Roslyn functions? Or will he try to replace my regular compiler for my open solution?

On the topic of Roslyn, take a look at these Roslyn Multiple Tools (all work autonomously outside of VisualStudio) , the first is a simple Roslyn REPL
