What is the most widely used Drupal text editor plugin?

I want to configure the JS WYSIWYG editor for the Drupal site for my clients.

What is the most popular Drupal plugin for this, which also supports uploading images through an editor? I'm new to Drupal, so I don’t know if there is a de facto standard or not, and the browser of the Drupal plugin is not very useful for measuring which is best.

Today I will test CKEditor .

I studied using TinyMCE, but some features seem to be paid; which is currently unacceptable, but if the free alternative works better, I would prefer to use it.

(SO rules prevent questions about a "favorite" or "opinion", but the "most popular" is a numeric number! a mad scientist laughs )

Drupal uses a catchall module called WYSIWYG: http://drupal.org/project/wysiwyg This module allows you to install any and ALL of the most popular WYSIWYGs and use one or all of them at the same time.

Many of the best, TinyMCE and CKEditor also work with the Media module, which allows you to insert and update media in WYSIWYG http://drupal.org/project/Media

, , WYSIWYG, WYSIWYG. WYSIWYG TON .
