Orchard CMS simple user registration / authentication

I think creating a simple user registration on the Orchard CMS should be easy?

I need the simplest set of steps that must be followed in order to use basic user registration / authentication in my test application, something similar to http://orchardproject.net/gallery/Users/Account/Register . I looked at Google’s results on this subject, but most often I talk about tuning through external modules, I don’t think that I will need external modules for a simple user authentication mechanism?

Registration / Login / Membership module in Orchard did not help me, as in, how can I get my users to register / login after this parameter? What do I need to do for this? Please note: at the moment I do not need settings such as Orchard: user registration fields .

From my understanding, this should be a very simple task to implement, but I struggled to get this test application. What am I missing? Some recommendations on this issue will be highly appreciated.
