The multiprocessor subprocess works on Linux, but not on Windows

I am trying to get python-gasp running on windows, but when I do import gasp; gasp.begin_graphics(), I get the following trace:

Any idea why I am getting this error on Windows XP, but not on Ubuntu Linux 9.04?

It appears to be screen.updateran instance Updater(multiprocessing.Process)( def ) if that helps. This file is located at http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~gasp-dev/gasp-core/main/annotate/head%3A/gasp/backend.py
