C ++ get other windows messages

Question

im learning to do things in other windows like resize ie or any type of window. the only problem, I do not know how I can receive or send messages to other windows.
so I pressed a key i.e. I would like to receive this message in my program too!
any idea

To receive messages sent to Windows programs, you need to set the hook to listen to the messages you need. You do this using the SetWindowsHookEx function .
