Facebook apps redirect to page 404

After moving the server last week, I found that all the iframe applications on Facebook that I post are redirected to http://www.facebook.com/4oh4.php

This is a direct redirect from apps.facebook.com URL to facebook 404 - using httpFox. I do not see any request to my server at all.

The funny thing is that everything works fine when I use the application administrator account on my PC.

I checked and the applications are not in sandbox mode. This must be something related to moving the server. It was just a DNS update, I did not need to change any application settings.

Has anyone else seen something like this before?

This usually indicates that your application is in Sandbox mode / dev. You need to remove it from the sandbox:

  • Go to https://developers.facebook.com/apps
  • Select your application and click "Change Settings"
  • In the menu on the left side in the "Settings" section, click "Advanced"
  • In Sandbox mode, click Disabled
  • Scroll down the page and click "Save Changes."
