Does a new Facebook app need approval?

I am programming a Facebook application. My code is ready, but I don’t know if it is necessary to approve my application or something like that.

The Facebook app, as a rule, does not have to go through any approval process in order to publish it, all you have to do is switch Sandbox mode to disabled.

To find the Sandbox mode setting:

• Go to your toolbar .
• Select the application you want to publish.
• Click "Edit."
• Go to Settings → Advanced.
• It should be here under the Authentication category.
