On average, computer animation works very smoothly. On the iPad, however, jQuery animations, such as fading (opacity from 0 to 1 for 0.5 seconds) of a 1920x1200 pixel image, are slightly behind.
Is there any way to speed this up? Any acceleration? Maybe I should disable the processor consuming jQuery scripts for iPad? Are there any recommendations for encoding iPhone and iPad?
I would also say that on older iPhones it is much larger.
