C # class documentation in print

Our C # source code is fully documented using the usual Sandcastle / XML notation. We use SHFB to compile it to an MSDN-style documentation website.

Now we need * 1 to compile the documentation in a printed form . Ideally, we need a PDF document, but the specific format is less important than its suitability for printing. It is important, but not critical, that the documentation looks relatively professional and can be branded with corporate logos, etc.

Is there a bigger way to do this? I do not think that the individual printing of each page of a documentation site is a practical choice. Intermediate XML documentation files can, in principle, be converted into a useful format, but perhaps a viable and supported solution for this task already exists?

* 1 - for reasons that I do not fully understand.

Is there a painless way to do this in most cases?

No, do not do this. This doesn't make sense for class-level documentation — no one will ever read it. TAll voltages do not work, they will need to be replaced with links to pages.

Apparently, Help and Guides can directly import Sandcastle projects and then output them in a variety of formats (including print).

I have not even tried this myself. I would be interested to hear the impressions of everyone who has.
