Change author in mercurial

Question

I transferred my code on the bitpack from another computer and forgot to change the default name to mine. How can I fix the wrong name for mine. thanks in advance.

The author line is what comes from the configuration on your computer (since you commit locally and click on Bitbucket).

You can set this line for Hg, this document is about it. Similarly, you can install Git author, this document about it.
