To view the list of assemblies in the global assembly cache, at a command prompt, type the following command: gacutil -l
In earlier versions of the .NET Framework, the Windows Shfusion.dll shell extension allowed you to view the global build cache in Windows Explorer. Starting with the .NET Framework version 4, Shfusion.dll is deprecated.
Does any visual tool view the contents of the global assembly cache in .NET 4.0 - CLR 4.0? I need a viewer, not command line execution (gacutil -l).
