Structured, factorized, and atomic representation?

I am currently reading Artificial Intelligence: A Modern Approach. Although terminology is factored, does structured and atomic representation confuse what they mean exactly?

I am not happy with what Russell and Norwig draw, but: In general, when you use AI methods to solve a problem, you will have a programmed model of the situation. Atomic / factorized / structured is a qualitative measure of how much the “internal structure” of these models has, at least from the majority.
