How do I know if a branch is merged into Trunk?

I am trying to clear the svn tree. There is a chest directory and a branch directory containing a folder with the hopeless name "main-branch". I want to know if it has already been drained into the trunk.

How can i do this? Is it svn mergeinforeliable because it does not show anything?

Subversion's Mergeinfo is reliable if Subversion people are reliable. This is what might go wrong:

• If you have worked with Subversion before 1.5, there is no mergeinfo. Thus, information is lost.
