How to compare two routes using google direction apis or another apis app for iPhone

I want to compare two routes to see if they are the same or not in my iPhone app.

There is a person X who wants to go to point A to point B, and another person wants to go to point A1 to point B1.

I can get the route between A and B using the Google referral APIs.

http://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/directions/xml?origin=Point a A address&destination=Point B address&sensor=false

In the same way, I can get the route from A1 to B1.

but the latitude and longitude that I get in xmls do not match (even one point does not match). So, here is my question, how can I match the two routes that I want to know, is this the same route or not.
