In Android, I have a thread that initializes a global variable. The flow begins when the action begins. If the action completes before the thread is initialized by the global variable, will the thread still run in the background to complete its task, or will it be killed when the operation completes?
Shutting down is part of the main thread of execution / user interface in android. When you create a new thread and perform operations on this thread, it works as a separate object from the main user interface thread.
