My Spotify development account is on and I am trying to get through their simple tutorial application (http://developer.spotify.com/download/spotify-apps-api/tutorial/). Here I should note that I am on a Win 7 workstation.
When I try to download a local application by typing "spotify: app: Tutorial" in the search field, I get the following msg / error: "Sorry, I found this application. Metadatafailed URI: spotify: app: Tutorial Error: appNotFound."
I tried adding the application files to the following directories and still get the error:
- C: \ Users \ Me \ Documents \ Spotify \ Tutorial (note that this directory does not exist, I created it)
- C: \ Users \ Me \ AppData \ Local \ Spotify
- C: \ Users \ Me \ AppData \ Local \ Spotify \ Users \ me a user
- C: \ Users \ Me \ AppData \ Roaming \ Spotify
- C: \ Users \ Me \ AppData \ Roaming \ Spotify \ Users \ I-user
So, where exactly do you intend to add files so that Spotify downloads local applications?
Thank!
