SSRS 2008 R2 Report with Credentials

I developed an SSRS report and deployed this report to my staging server.

When I try to access a report, it always asks for login information. I noticed that the prompt is for login information to a data source, not a report server.

My database server is different from the report server. Are there any configuration changes that need to be made to avoid the prompt, as I already mentioned these details in the data source.

Can you please help me with this.

There is a similar message SQL Server Reporting Services 2008 R2 always shows the login prompt available on stackoverflow, but it refers to the report server, I think.

Please ignore my ignorance as I am new to SSRS.

Thanks in advance

Thanks for the suggestion, but it didn’t work.

After some search and configuration, he worked with the following process: I clicked the Manage (select from the drop-down list) report button and selected the Data Sources tab .

From the displayed parameters, I selected the "Credentials" option saved on the report server, and provided the credentials for logging in and clicked "Apply".

When I opened the report, it no longer requested or requested registration.

Hope this helps someone.
