Match ApplicationIcon.jpg accent color

This is a simple question, but I cannot find a definite answer to this question.

How to set the application icon (the one that appears in the menu)

which matches the color of the accent? Currently, the only way is to overwrite ApplicationIcon.jpg, but jpgs do not have transparency.

Edit:

This is what I used to make it work. Copy the .png file and rename it to .jpg. It must be exactly the same name, or you will get 2 xap package failed error message.

Use a PNG image instead. Any transparent background will use the accent color of the phone. See discussion here:
