I am working on a rather complicated project (at least difficult for me and my modest skills), which is based on Buddypress. Basically, I have this Buddypress setting that I modified to fit my needs, which are mostly localization services.
The component of my groups is now geolocalized and everything looks great. The fact is that I would like my users to be able to register in a group when they are in place, as in Foursquare. I was wondering if anyone could help me with this. Is there a plugin available for this? Or maybe a tutorial on how to create it? Someone may already have done this, or have an idea of how I can get it to work in Buddypress.
I would appreciate any understanding of this, as I really don't know where to look first. I took a look at the Foursquare API, but I would like to be able to use its functionality without having to skip four times for registration.
