How to disable text wrapping in a text box?

Question

I add text to a text box that attaches to a 300x400 window. When I add long text, I wrap the text to the next line, which makes my output look like a bad looking one.

How to prevent word wrapping in a multi-line text box?

I tried using horizontal and vertical scrollbars, but it doesn't seem to work.
