The regular expression matches the end of the line with a wildcard

I need to map the URL in Google Analytics for use in purpose and sequence.

I would like to map the url for http://url.com/guides/anything-that-comes-after

I will match / guides for his own purpose, but would like to combine / guide / * (how to do it with a simple pattern) with a regular expression.

So, you are trying to compare everything that comes after the "manual /", basically?

^http\:\/\/url\.com\/guides\/(.+)$

must match anything after your url. If you want to make it domain independent, try the following:

^http\:\/\/.+?\/guides\/(.+)$

Try the following:

.*?/guides/(.*)
