TFS2010 - Parallel Build - One Solution, Single Line Agent

We have TFS2010 and one solution with almost 200 hundred projects (yes, I know, a bad idea, not mine!). I have a build time of up to about 30 seconds on a 4-core (8 hyper) computer with 4 minutes executed sequentially by untying the code to ensure a high level of concurrency build. Now I would like to take advantage of this on the build server, this should be possible, since MSBuild supports parallel builds. How?

You can run assemblies in parallel in Team Build 2010 by editing your build properties.

  • Open the list of collectors in Team Explorer
  • , , ...
  • MSBuild Arguments /maxcpucount /m
