I already downloaded the Haskell platform, and I use ghci without any problems, but more on that. I need to use SOE image files, and I uploaded the files (I think this is tar.gz), but wherever I look, the instructions for Windows seem to skip steps or not work. I can't get cabal to work (never to scale) even after I moved it from the buried folder to the trash can where ghci lives. The same goes for OpenGL or GLFW or whatever it's called.
I need clear step-by-step instructions for my desktop (Win XP SP2) and my laptop (Win 7). If you point me to an existing page, I was probably there and tried to follow the instructions without success. See if you can clarify this process.
Please talk to me like I'm an idiot. If you tell me to print something, I need to know where I am printing it. If I need to upload a file, tell me which folder it is in. You are welcome.
Firstly: do I need to delete everything that I have already downloaded in order to start a new job, and if so, just delete the files or should I enter the registry?
I really made some progress. I managed to install GLFW. I typed -i./SOE/src and I got the correct result. Then I went: load Draw.lhs and got
SOE compilation (SOE.hs, interpreted)
SOE.hs: 136: 31:
"Bool" '()'
: GLFW.WindowCloseCallback
: IO()
'closeWindow_'
'($ =)', 'closeWindow_ eventsChan'
, : none
????? , SOE.hs.
