This should be the minimum code required:

it ignores some potentially complex problems: error handling, character encoding of file names ... but it can give you a start.

I used std::filesystem::path::filenameto get the original file name without entering it manually. However, with std::filesystem::copyyou can skip transferring the file name to the target path altogether:

fs::copy(sourceFile, targetParent, fs::copy_options::overwrite_existing);

Change the behavior of both functions with std::filesystem::copy_options.
