I have been struggling with this for several weeks now and cannot understand why this is not working. I am beta testing my first WP7 application and want to fund it with banner ads. But all I see is a black square in fractions of a second, because it becomes invisible. The beta version of the application can be downloaded here:

To enable banners, I took the following steps:
- Download the Windows Phone Ad SDK (WPAdSDK-DEU.msi)
- add Microsoft.Advertising.Mobile and Microsoft.Advertising.Mobile.UI Refer to my project.
- add: xmlns: my = "clr-namespace: Microsoft.Advertising.Mobile.UI; assembly = Microsoft.Advertising.Mobile.UI" for my xaml
- add 80480 AdControl element to my xaml
- make a center center account and register my application and advertising management. I chose sports, travel, and shopping as categories, suggesting that most of the ads in these categories
- paste the application ids and adunit identifier in my xaml as below.

As mentioned above, I see a black banner for a second before it disappears. I also tried AdUnitId = "Image480_800" and ApplicationId = "test_client" for testing, but for the same effect.
What am I doing wrong?
