A warning about class sharing does not allow me to browse locally (Windows) using visualVM

When I launch a java application from Eclipse Helios, I see it in the list of local applications on visualVM. However, I go to the Profiler tab and I cannot profile by the criteria of the CPU or memory.

I get the following message: “WARNING! For this, the JVM has class access enabled, which can cause problems when profiling the application and, ultimately, lead to its failure. For more information on steps and troubleshooting, see the VisualVM Troubleshooting Guide: https : //visualvm.dev.java.net/troubleshooting.html#xshare . "

In the splash screen to launch the eclipse of my application, I added -Xshare: disconnected before VM_Arguments without success. Used JDK: jdk 1.6.0_20 Enviornment: Windows 7, 64bit

Can I advise? Thanks

Do you need Eclipse UAC permission? I bet it's ...

Just run VisualVM as an administrator so that they run under the same user.

Hooray! Marco
