I recently tested various EXE packers. I tried ASPack, UPX, mPress, etc. After trying half a dozen packers, I noticed that most of the packaged EXE can cause false virus signatures. Even UPX is no exception. However, my choice is UPX. Can someone please suggest me what is the best compression / packing method available in UPX.?
I am quite pleased with UPX -lzma myEXE.eXE anyway I would like to hear from you people about this. I don't like UPX -ultra -brute myEXE.EXE as it eats a clock to do the trick.
I used UPX a lot and there was not much difference between the versions.
