Managing a subset of a database in a SQL Server 2008 database project

I am new to using SQL Server 2008 DB Project in VS 2010. I found a good intro to configure them. It's nice how they create Tables, Stored Proc objects, etc. As objects. But is this also a limitation?

I want to use this project to manage 1 stored procedure (for training). I do not want to import the entire database, because 90% of the database is something that we are unable to do.

I created a new project without completing the import process. Then I added a new stored procedure. Now it’s hard for me to get what I need to build. I get various errors saying that I have unresolved object references.

How can I add a new stored procedure ... build it and deploy it to the database? Is it possible with the help of such an SQL project, or do I need to return to the old, simple types of SQL projects that are used by VS 2008 and below?

According to another post, there is no support for the Project Database type. Support for my situation seems to have been erased.

UPDATE 3/21/2012
I installed MSSCCI , which allows me to use SSMS directly with TFS 2010. I no longer need it and found the installation process unmanageable for a large SQL 2008 database. Especially when you manage only a small% of the database.
