"Mail links must point to the connection URL of the application or canvas" - error

I try to post to the user’s wall, but I get this error when the sharing window opens:

The post links must direct to the application connect or canvas URL

Now I have done the right Google search in the hope of finding a solution, but the only thing I said is that I need to disable the "Email URL Security". I checked the advanced settings for my application and it is already disabled.

So, having many years of development experience on Facebook, and knowing how incredibly bad communication between us developers and FB was in the past, I doubt very much that they will help me with this. Although I heard that feedback here is better than the old old FB platform forums. Well, let's see if my only option is to set fire to my hair or that there might be some kind soul who can help.

This answer from WordPress forums via user Samuel Wood (Otto) worked for me:

Go to the Facebook App. Edit its settings. On the Advanced settings page, disable the "Stream post URL security" option.

For others having this problem, I was able to solve this problem by setting up the Facebook app> App> Settings> Facebook app> Canvas URL
