How to use git versions and guitar hooks?

Is there a possibility of a beautiful version and tracks of git hooks? Can I safely have another (nested) git repository under the hook folder on the server?

Answer 1

Nothing prevents you from adding your gitolite server hooks to the admin repository (or even the gitolite admin repository, where you add ssh public keys and a configuration file for all repositories and their associated rights).

However, redirecting this repo server back to the gitolite server will not cause anything worse.
You still have to go to the hook folder on the server and:
