I have a table in which there are 23 columns of data that I need to display. This is clearly unreasonably broad, and I'm looking for a strategy to make it a little more manageable for my users.
I think that in 99% of cases the user is not interested in having a lot of data at the same time, so try breaking it up somehow:
Try showing a couple of the main columns and use jQuery and pop-ups to display details for each row, including other data from other columns.
