How to save content from a previous web page after clicking a link?

Sorry if this is a newbie question, but I really don't know what to look for. How to save content from the previous page when navigating a website? For example, the right activity / chat panel on facebook. It does not update when switching to different profiles; it is not an iframe and does not seem ajax (I could be wrong).

Thank,

I believe that what you see on Facebook is not a relevant “page load,” but a clever use of AJAX or AHAH .

You can open the last closed its web page by pressing ctrl + shift + T . Now you can save content as you wish. Example: if I closed a webpage related to document exchange and now I am on a travel webpage. Then press ctrl + shift + T. Now my last web page will automatically open. This function works in Mozilla, e explorer, opera, etc. Hope this answer helps you.
