Unable to log in to SQL Server after changing computer name

I installed Windows Server 2008 and SQL Server 2008 R2, after joining the domain I changed the computer name, and by mistake I deleted the administrator group from the logon users in SQL Server, and now I can not log in.

Any suggestion?

Follow the steps in this article: http://v-consult.be/2011/05/26/recover-sa-password-microsoft-sql-server-2008-r2/

Basically, you need to change the SQL Server service settings so that it starts in administrator mode. This will allow only one connection to it. After starting, you can create a new sysadmin user, which you can use from now on.

I know this is old, but I just used Gui instead.

Step 1. Launch SSMS

Step 2. Select a server name from the drop-down list and click the Browse button.
