PictureBox throws an exception when changing images

I have Dictionarywith pairs stringsand Bitmapsthat correspond to a control ListViewthat lists all the image keys, among other information. In addition, I have PictureBoxone that should show the corresponding dictionary image when changing the listview index. Multiselect is set to false. DateTimeexists to ensure that only the most recent “selected” image is downloaded.

When the index changes, one of the following events occurs randomly:

Image is loading correctly
No change on PictureBox
A System.ArgumentException is thrown. An exception is always raised on a single line (see Code)

How can I prevent # 2 and # 3?
