Im using jQuery to create an interactive map. If you click on any of the 6 locations to the left of the map, the map will be panned on them, and the marker with a mark. I know that my code is pretty dirty, but this is for demo purposes only. So far, everything is working fine:

Their are some additional features. When you click a marker on the map itself, the name should appear with a marker, and the location name to the left of the map should be bold. This happens on firefox and chrome, but nothing happens on the iPad and iPhone.
I read about problems using jQuery live on iOS, but ive tried some workarounds with no luck. thank
