Different Rowheights in an Android GridView or equivalent

Is there a way to implement the following function in my application? Must have a gridview like behavior, but with different rowheights. Or is there another wigdet that provides such a feature? (Adapter, n-columns, etc.) The last three days I spent trying and fishing, but I did not get any suitable solution.

In layout.xml, first use a linear layout with a horizontal orientation.

In this linear layout, put 4 linear layouts with a vertical orientation, setting the weight attribute 1 for each of them. (So that each column occupies the same space).
