Kdiff3 doen not showing uft8

Question

I am using kdiff3 with TortoiseHg. When combining a file encoded in utf-8, kdiff3 displays all non-Latin text, for example

"Ѓє" ° ґ ".

How can i fix this?

In Kdiff3

Main menu: Settings- Configure Kdiff3- Regional settingstab

Select "Unicode, 8 bit" in the case of UTF8 without specification or enable "Automatic Unicode Detection" in the case of UTF8-BOM
