IPhone application is disabled under the motto if the phone is not connected via Xcode

I tried this on multiple devices, I have an iOS application that crashes when my phone is not connected via Xcode.

The steps follow:

1) Open the Xcode project, connect the phone to the Mac
2) Run the application through Xcode
3) The application works completely
4) Disconnect the cable
5) Click the application icon again → crash after spashscreen

Can anyone think where I could figure this out? Since this is the only thing that happens when disconnected, I have no logs.

PS: I also sent this application to the App Store (as I had not noticed before), and Apple accepted it. This means that their process did not even find this problem.

There was the same problem. This is how you complete the debugging process. Just add one more step:

1) Open the Xcode project, connect the phone to the Mac

2) Launch the application through Xcode

3) The application works fully

4) STOP the application (from Xcode)

5) Disconnect the cable

6) Click the app icon again → crash after spashscreen

You can see the logs that were recorded when the application crashed by connecting it back to your Mac, opening Xcode, going to Organizer ( CMD+SHIFT+2) and looking at the console for your device. Hopefully here you can see what causes the crash.

Just for future reference, I had such a problem, somewhere I had CFRelease (NULL); and it caused a crash.
