Rails 3 + Daemons gem: Model request exception

As part of my rails project, we are going to use the daemon as a message queue listener to execute commands from the front panel of the Rails web service.

For ease of prototyping, we use the Daemons stone to create a very simple daemon. Right now, it's super easy. Here is the code:

        empires = Empire.all
        sleep(5)

end

Basically, it takes things for the daemons, then it requires my Ruby environment, and then it runs to the daemon. The daemon is simply trying to query everything from the Empires table. Then he sleeps and does it again.

When it proceeds to execute 'all', I get the following exception:
