PDF generation freezes using PDFKit and wkhtmotopdf

I'm on OSX Lion using wkhtmtopdf that came with homebrew (0.9.9), and suddenly I can no longer create PDF files. When I attach .pdf at the end of the URL, the wkhtmltopdf process starts, but the process never ends. I suspect that this is a problem with wkhtmltopdf, because the process does not end when I run it through cli. When I issue the following command, I get the test.pdf file, but the process never ends, although it says "done."

Is there something I can do to complete the process?
